INDOSAT leased transponder capacity in units of a certain wide bandwidth to customers. In this case, the customer typically owns and operates the device ground segment. Furthermore, INDOSAT will manage the transponder access procedures and monitor the satellite signals from the customer.

For each leased capacity, INDOSAT allocate capacity in 2 important parameters: bandwidth and size of EIRP in accordance with the leased bandwidth. The formula of calculation of EIRP in accordance with the portion of the leased bandwidth is determined by the Satellite Division.
