PALAPA-C2 Satellite is controlled from Daan Mogot Station located in Daan Mogot Street, West Jakarta, Indonesia. The station is manned 24 hours x 7 days a week to ensure high responsiveness to customer any need. Highly competence engineers in the station perform two basic important and critical missions :
     1. satellite control management, and
     2. carriers / traffics management

The satellite control management activities include station keeping maneuvers to ensure the satellite stays in its position within a pre-determined keeping bx of 0.1 degrees. This keeping box is designed to minimize pointing error of customer's terminal accessing the satellite.

The carriers / traffics management controls the access to the satellite of customer's terminals, monitor and verify the traffics, and customer technical support functions. Customers may contact this station for any matters of technical support, such as cross-pol isolation test, antenna pattern test, access procedures, etc, at any time.

The station also function as TELEPORT Station controling Indosat Telecast Services where news agencies and broadcasters are served in many types of services. Here, some big antennas have been installed pointing to many satellites, not only to PALAPA-C2. Some types of services include programs / news distribution in receive only, transmit-receive, mobile Station, etc.
